ABOUT ME
I am an HR Manager unlike any other. Not all of us are stuffy, businesspeople with no sense of humor!
Most people my age (32-years-young!) and in a similar position would agree that job hunting for that perfect career is not easy, even after countless years of education and experience. Let's be honest; sometimes job hunting makes us want to pull our hair out! There is so much competition out there for great jobs and the key these days to getting noticed is not the same as it was 5 years ago!
Important factors in being hired in the modern world:
1. Bringing your unique value to an aspiring company; something creative, innovative, and fresh in the eyes of the business world.
2. Standing out in a crowd of HUNDREDS of other applicants
3. Getting that foot in the door without getting it squashed - Ouch!
I aim to show my personal experience to those in similar situations or even to those who just want to know what it's like to navigate in the professional atmosphere of our "new normal" and how COVID-19 has effected my past job as well as my current job search.
